Stinkfist sent the following report to TMN:
Operation: TPFR
Arrr the Pirates of Lok'Groton & Friends recently gathered ta attempt ta find out who and make contacts with ta sneaky shak who puts a bounty on me head and conduct Operation: TPFR. Tha crew hit up Venable's Island fer clues . . . and we were met by ambushes after ambushes . . . and fell back to Centaur Isle more than once—tha shak seemed ta have learned tha trick of wearin lower rankin shak clothing fer ambushes . . . little did they know that their overconfidence would be their downfall. See it was all according ta me master plan ta lul tha shak into a false sense of victory ta lure out their leader ta collect tha bounty on me himself . . . it worked and we soon were chasing tha fool Pinchblade through their outpost.
We found him outside tha Venables Outpost Temple, he did not seem to like me and calleds me a "dog." I guess he be super jealous of everybody lovin me likes everybody loves dogs, I ain't sure.
Har, it wasn't long before our ambush was sprung on HIS last attempt at an ambush and Pinchblade found himself cornered by angry Pirates, Exiles, and Bloodmages.
and then tha fool was mobbed and killed.
but thar was somethin wrong with this picture. Tha Bounty Hunter, who had come to tha island with tha money to pay tha bounty on me head . . . seemed ta have no moneys . . . so we went an consulted our good friend Barny, who informed us that Pinchblade may have stashed his money around tha outpost . . . if he even had it to begin with . . . so we decided ta ransack tha outpost searching for it.
After much poking and riffling through tha shaks' various non-valuable possessions we noticed a bunch of rocks piled in places thar wern't previously rocks . . . so I ordered tha crew ta dig.
but that turned up a bust . . . but then Barny remembered that Pinchblade had set up a few things like that all over tha place.
Mista Naferu immediately jumped on tha prospect of findin loot and so we split up and started lookin for stashes.
We soon found stash after stash hidden amongst tha rocks of tha island and continued ta search.
There was still resistance but it was rather light. Tha shak seemed fine with hiding from us while we ransacked tha isle. Our search finally led us to tha undead-filled cavern outside of Phisneyland in tha Eastern most part of tha shak outpost. Har it was a long bloody battle with tha various undead in tha cavern.
After tha undead were finally all dispatched, we located one last stash of booty...
We then gathered what fallens remained on tha isle and returned ta talk ta Barny now that our work was done and Operatio: TPFR was a success. He seemed ta have found another shak ally ta work with, fer safety reasons he will be known as "Mista S" fer now.
Thar is also a great chance that thar be more hidden booty around tha greater Venables Island region (TI) as we were only able ta recover about 2,000c of a presumably large bounty on me head, so keep searching! Thar be booty in that thar isle...
Tha Bounty Hunter Pinchblade and those he hired be dead, tho much is left ta do on tha island before tha "Embassy" be finished. And what of this "Mista S"? What services an aid can he bring to tha table? What adventure and booty can he get us? Travel around with yer local Pirates and find out.

Creed sent the following report to TMN:
Hail Para!
Your long-lost roving reporter here with a bit of news. First, I would like to congratulate my friend Peril, who passed the 4th circle fighter test recently!
Second, it looks like Captain Stinkfist's foray into Darshak territory did not go unnoticed or un-revenged. A Darshak leader named Pillard led his men on a major attack on the western Puddleby beaches and docks. Fortunately, a wide array of exiles were in town getting ready for the Order of the White Elephant Open Hunt, and we were able to respond to the threat. As you can see, Althea was one of the lead fighters, as were Elenis Reyav, Torin, Maeght, Hoggle, Downyfoot, Gustave, Ortlinde, and the bloodbladers Revlis and SnowLion.
Pillard was intent on capturing Stinkfist, who was, however, nowhere to be found.
Fen President Largo seemed a bit put out that HE wasn't the one whose head was being called for.
Others called for the head of Pillard himself.
It got a little scary for a while when we were flanked both north and south, and the brewery and casino were both set fire! We eventually won our way to the docks and saw not just one but several huge, elaborate pirate ships off the coast.
After an amusing war of words among Althea, Largo, and Pillard,
we were finally able to draw Pillard from his ship and surround him. Admittedly, he fought hard, but we exiles were too much for him, and we brought him down.
Sadly, though, he didn't drop a chest!
I believe some exiles then headed to Ash Island for some revenge raiding, but I was unable to join them. I was worn out from all that moonstone and asklepian staff use! But it was an exhilarating battle and a great victory over a strong enemy.
Cheers,
-Creed
