Creed sent the following report to TMN:
Hail, Para!
Although it's a little late, I wanted to send you some sketches I was able to make in the chaos of the great meshra invasion that occurred right after the Feast of Tsrrin. It was the day of Open Hunt, and some of us had gone on an earlier, impromptu hunt to the bison plains. We were late returning, with many wanting to try to make it to Open Hunt, so we were in a huge hurry to get back and took a shortcut through the estuary meshra lair to get to the nexus.
I can only think that we disturbed the mshra by running unexpectedly through their lair. Very shortly after we made it to town, a major meshra invasion began! Meshra of all sizes, shapes and levels of power began invading from the direction of the well in east farms, swarming over east town. Luckily many exiles were gathering for Open Hunt, or we may well have seen the town overrun!
As you can see, even blind amphibia swarmed into east town, with their huge terrifying mouths gaping open for our blood. And the meshra laid eggs all over town center. Many baby meshra were hatched and squiggled all over the upturned mud of our fair town. Some exiles even suggested abandoning our town at that point!
Needless to say there was no Open Hunt that day! Instead, our valiant exiles worked together to destroy our slimy enemies. Hail Puddleby!
Cheers,
-Creed
