Talk about a rude awakening!
Posted by: Lundar on March 5, 2009 01:14 AMWe'll need some funds to bail us out!
Posted by: K'vynn on March 5, 2009 06:33 PMHopefully slide am squishing rat's nest in garden. That am good thing.
Posted by: Ratbane on March 6, 2009 12:26 AMYes, K'vynn is right... you may make large donations to me and I'll see that the funds go some place interesting.
Posted by: Anton Crowley on March 6, 2009 10:12 AMIt's been claimed that the mystics caused this apparent catastrophe on purpose: supposedly, the Bank of Puddleby was about to foreclose on the property, and the rockfall is simply a preemptive delaying tactic to keep the bailiff away. Is there any truth to these allegations?
Furthermore: If the mortgage on the Mystic Academy is indeed so toxic an asset, then the obvious next question is: will the Bank itself be needing a bailout sometime soon? Who will pay for that?
Posted by: Concerned Citizen on March 6, 2009 01:34 PMSeems there are now three workers attending to the cave in; two of which are collecting materials.
Were any fellow mystics trapped inside the mystic's library? Are any of the trapped teachers in danger of starving to death? Were any killed? Could there be a silver lining to this disaster in an updated facility? Should mystics start training Skea or update their pathfinding skills. What will this all mean to the profession, already in question by so many not within the guild?
