It seems that marriage is in the air lately in Puddleby. My dear friend Chance sent me some postcards from her recent trip to Peaceton, and as it turns out, she and Yharren have eloped!
I must say that I was surprised, as I had hoped one day to stand up at their wedding. But I guess the romantic boat trip and the beauty of Peaceton overwhelmed the two lovebirds. As you can see, they were married by Captain Ay'hab, who was a little confused at first . . .
. . . causing the groom a bit of confusion . . .
. . . and eliciting some very unflattering commentary from Jolly.
Finally, the deed was done. Doesn't Yharren look handsome in his new wedding outfit? Poor Chance was so flustered, she didn't even shop for a new dress of her own. But I think she looks lovely all the same.
As I mentioned, the happy newlyweds landed in Peaceton to enjoy their honeymoon. Unfortunately they arrived after dark and had to spend their first night in the barn:
but again—they had each other—and that was all they needed.
Congratulations to Yharren and Chance! All hail this new union between Clan Hunter and the Order of the Mini. Much happiness always!
