Bard news from Coriakin:
"This is an exciting time for bards! In the last audition, we gained a new quester, Lokar, and a new full bard, Baraboo! Congratulations to both of them!
"As well, a new face appeared in the guild hall. Hali Nellard just arrived from the mainland recently, and she sells folders that bards can store sheet music in! bards can write the notes to their songs on sheets of paper and give copies to others! Hopefully this will make playing duets and trios much easier.
"Lastly, after the recent audition, I announced that I am holding a composing contest that is open to both questers and full bards! I have many prizes, and am hoping to get a lot of entries. There is more information about the contest on my web scrolls: http://www.reed.edu/~feigec/bigcontest.html."
Sor also reports on Bard events:
"The bard guild has recruited two new helpers, who allow bards to write down their music for more convenient use, and store compositions for others to try out! This should make duets and trios more common, and promote Puddleby arts! Sonata, pictured here, disappeared recently, but the music folders are still there."
Lundar has posted a report on the audition on the ELF Blog.
