Konoko has sent TMN a report on the design and decoration of her new home:

"Here's a sketch of my house. I opted for the small, cozy house rather than one of those huge mausoleum-size houses. Besides, it's not the size of your house that matters, it's how you decorate! And don't worry about all those braziers. Achates was concerned about fire hazards. But no worries--I'm insured!

"I've got the kitchen/dining area in the southwest corner. A library/reading room is in the southeast corner. The northeast has a more cozy setup (think loveseat or couch, or a placer to do a little reading in a garden type setup). The bedroom is in the northwest corner. The only thing that really gave me grief was not being able to put stuff near/around the door (besides carpets). I was planning to block one side immediately upon entry but you can't place items there. It is not that big a deal, though. I'm looking forward to someone making walls and walls of bottles!"
